​Detoxification unit for adults 19 years and over, located in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside. Nursing care and physician support provide a safe, supportive environment for individuals who are experiencing acute withdrawal from substances. Offers referrals to follow-up treatment. Serves North Shore, Richmond, Sunshine Coast, and Vancouver.

24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Refferal

​Individuals can access withdrawal management services through the following: call ACCESS Central, contact the Detox Unit directly by phone or ring the bell at the Harbour Light detox door (119 East Cordova Street) to see if a walk-in bed is available.

Eligibility

Serves individuals wanting to withdrawal from the following: heroin, cocaine, crack, amphetamines, crystal meth, THC, synthetic opiates and methadone. Also serves individuals on the Methadone Maintenance program withdrawing off other substances and individuals with concurrent disorders.
