Substance use services for women are available through the Heartwood Centre for Women

The Heartwood Centre for Women is for women (including transgendered women), who are BC residents aged 19 or older with substance dependence, mental health concerns (including trauma) and primary health issues. Heartwood is part of BC Mental Health & Substance Use Services and is physically located at BC Women's Health Centre.

Heartwood is a robust program offering full continuum of residential treatment, including stabilization. Women are supported by an interdisciplinary team that includes:
